Calgon Carbon, a U.S. company, won a contract to provide 7.2 million pounds of carbon to a water treatment plant in Seoul, South Korea. Using the carbon to filter their water, the Dduk-Do municipal drinking water plant hopes to provide 198 million gallons of potable water to Seoul’s citizens per day.
