A lot of us know that we need to drink more water. We even have bots on Twitch and other computer reminders that tell us we need to drink. Still a lot of us aren’t doing it. Forcing ourselves to drink water and be cognizant of our hydration is a tough job but it’s necessary for the body. Water helps remove toxins from the Kidney’s and keeps muscles and bones from getting injured. Water boosts our energy levels and regulates body temperature. The list of benefits goes on.
- Our kidneys can’t function if we’re not hydrated, and we become vulnerable to kidney stones.
- Water keeps the digestive system working and helps the body to remove waste.
- It’s possible to drink too much fluid, causing sodium levels to fall.
“Water helps with the production of synovial fluid, which lubricates the joints in our body. When not enough protective fluid is produced, there is a higher chance of friction. The result? A higher risk of inflammation and injury.”
