Testing has revealed almost a quarter of China’s purified drinking water is substandard, with many products containing excessive bacteria including C’estbon Beverage Co Ltd, Danone SA’s Robust, and Wahaha Group.

China is no stranger to food scares, and with polluted waterways the public is forced to boil water or purchase bottles.
