The Helston area will soon see improvements to drinking water quality by the end of the month thanks to new filters.

Filters have been installed and refurbished at Wendron and Restormal water treatment plants, and the newly filtered water has been blended and distributed with the usual water since September. All the new filters, which are made of granular activated carbon, will be in use by the end of December.
