Basic health class and our primary physicians have told us to drink water and stay hydrated every day. Like a mantra we are told to drink water for our health. You’re probably sick of hearing that over and over. So here are some other reasons to drink water aside from curbing thirst.
First, water makes a fantastic broom for your digestive system. It helps flush out waste and bacteria from your gut, so have a glass after a big deal. Want to lose weight? No problem, replace a snack with water to get a full, satisfying feeling without putting in calories. Have joint pain? Water helps keep the cartilage in your joints soft.
