The city of Flint is now free of the state of Michigan’s oversight. Due to a problem that was mainly down to drinking water, Flint has been under the microscope for almost seven years. The financial emergency that arose in the city because of this needed to be fought in a few different ways. Emergency managers were hired to come in and rectify the situation. In order to save money and fix their issue, Flint’s emergency managers made the difficult decision of changing the water supply.
