Amidst a series of political troubles, the country of Yemen has a desperate need for clean water. Thirteen million Yemenis, half the population, struggle to obtain clean water to drink or grow crops. The result is that 14.7 million people in the country currently depend on humanitarian aid. Experts estimate that the capitl of Sana’a could run out of water entirely by 2017.
