Researchers at the University of East London and University of Westminster discovered that students who took water in with them to their exams got higher marks than those didn’t. Water itself doesn’t provide a boost in intelligence, however dehydration can lower your metabolic rate and create fatigue that prevents test takers from operating at their fullest.
