UK Fines Sembcorp Over Unfit Tap Water

Sembcorp, a water provider for homes in Bournemouth, was fined 85,000 pounds after it was discovered that their water was unfit for human consumption. Magistrates said Sembcorp had been “negligent, bordering on reckless.” The company claims that they have since installed a UV filter to kill off any bacteria in the water supply.
