In Danbury, a region of the city between Tamarack Avenue and Hayestown Road, was reported as fllooded. It was found that the situation was the result of a broken valve. City officials issued an alert, instructing residents to boil their water for the safety of themselves and their families.

The problem, which occurred on a Monday, was resolved by the shipping of a pipe part, via Total Piping solutions, which arrived on Wednesday. Although city health officials were not anticipating further fallout from the incident, the precaution to continue boiling water was allowed to stand for one more day.
