When it comes to drinking water in the United States, there are some contaminants that we have to worry about which cause some to face serious water quality problems. 120 locations within the US were tested in a study and the research round that 118 of those 120 locations had PFAS levels higher than the recommended maximum, which means lead was found in the water. Arsenic can also be found in water and is a toxic heavy metal that is naturally found in the ground.
