American Water Chemicals recently announced that it will change its name and branding to Alkema Solutions, effective in the beginning of 2015. The purpose behind the change is to reflect on AWC’s commitment to develop and innovate membrane water treatment technology. The name “Alkema Solutions” is derived as a reference to alchemy which would later evolve into chemistry.
