Homes and commuters were impacted by a water main breakage in a busy part of town. Eighteen homes were left without water for hours while crews worked to restore services and fix the base problem of the break. Road closures caused forced detours and impeded flow of commuters traveling in the West-hill area. No cause was found for the burst pipe. Officials for the water company are apologetic for any issues caused. Officials plan on investigating the cause of the rupture.
