David Sullivan, the co-chairman of West Ham United, is selling his stake in Kent’s largest reservoir to the leisure division of Markerstudy Group. This sale comes after the Bewl Valley Sailing Club failed to pay a £160,000/year bill to run its premises. Markerstudy intends on working with the clubs and residents to ensure Bewl Water will prosper in the Kent economy.
