It has recently been released by BBC News that approximately 100 water voles are being released into Yorkshire by the National Trust. It is known to be a perfect habitat for these kinds of animals and ecologists will also place food nearby such as apples to ensure the voles will be able to survive. Later on, the voles will survive off items such as roots.
