After several months of tests, Irish Water has confirmed that the water is safe to drink for the 11,000 residents living in Killeglan and Castlerea, Co Roscommon. Some of the 11,000 residents have been waiting for six years to hear this news. Irish Water also claimed that 22,700 people in the county should once again be able to drink from their tap water by the end of the year.
