Water Keeps the Weight Off

Short-term dieting is ineffective in the long term. Fad diets are even worse. Regular exercise and calorie counting are the most effective in losing weight, but there is one way to help keep the weight off: drinking more water.

Water has zero calories. Substituting it for soda, fruit juice, alcohol, and other drinks can cut hundreds of calories from you daily intake instantly. Also, if you drink a glass of water before each meal, you are less likely to overeat during a meal since your stomach will be partially filled and satiated.
