A water demineralisation plant from Veolia Water Technologies has been completed for a new £300 million power station in Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire. The station will create 68 MW of power from municipal and commercial waste. The water treatment plant uses a mix of borehole and town mains water to create 8 cubic meters per hour of demineralised water by softening, reverse osmosis, electrodeionisation and polishing. The design is bespoke for the power station.
