United Utilities revealed plans to build a new pipeline to help combat the water overflow from heavy storms and better the water quality in Rostherne Mere, an important wetland region of England. The pipeline should be about 5km long and is going to cost around 9 million Euros to construct. The construction of the pipeline is said to be following an existing pipeline, thus minimizing any potential damage to the environment and should be completed by 2018.
