The era of the flushable wet wipe may end very soon. After research and data crunching, experts have realized that the plush little cloths aren’t so flushable after all. Instead, the wipes cause major blockage in sewer pipes and are not very biodegradable. So years and years of using these wipes haven’t resulted in disintegrated material and a clean bottom — just a clean bottom. These wipes have actually added to the overall waste amount, ironically.
