The Water Saving Efforts of Hotels

Hotels throughout the world use a tremendous amount of resources. A lot of water and electricity is used to ensure their guests can have hot showers, hot tub access, and a slew of other services. However, now many hotel chains are trying to help reduce their water use.

Hilton Hotels are installing low-flush toilets to use less water and use it more efficiently. A number of hotels are installing low-flow showerheads to decrease water waste. Many hotel chains are now asking guests if they want fresh towels and sheets rather than automatically switching them out to decrease the amount of laundry washed daily.
