The Environment Agency discovered dirty water leaking from the base of a lagoon on Clandown Farm. The farm operators, Brunt Partners, were fined $5,000 and ordered to pay $4,245 in costs. The operators have now repaired the storage lagoon and improved the drainage. It is important farm operators to adequately maintain these structures so illegal discharges won’t harm the environment.
