Recent polls have shown that Scots are aware of the cost to the environment that comes from using single use plastic bottles, however most are too embarrassed to use their refillable water bottles. Studies show that if tap water is not readily available most will not ask for it even if they do own a refillable water bottle. Only about two in five scots feel any sort of remorse while neglecting the environment this has got to change
