Dry mouth is a common occurrence among most adults. However, waking up in the morning with little spittle in your mouth can lead to serious health side effects. If not addressed, dry mouth can cause tooth decay and the dehydration from it can even lead to heart disease. So what’s the solution?

It’s simple: drink more water. The more water you drink, the less dehydrated you’ll become at night. Another tip is to avoid eating salty snacks before bed and to keep a glass of water near your bed to drink if you wake up in the middle of the night.
