Procter & Gamble Take Clean Water Pledge

Consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble (P&G) have promised to provide 15 billion liters of clean drinking water by 2020. The company hopes to do its part to reduce illness caused by contaminated water sources in developing nations. As part of its pledge, P&G has invented water-purifying packets that can clean 10 liters of dirty water per packet.
