Water is a main resource for life on earth. Plant, animal, and human alike need it to live. The global water shortage is something we have united as a planet to try to solve. However, one of the biggest hurdles that add to the water shortage could be that there is too much life for it to support.

Thanks to urbanization and modern living, cities are growing immensely at an average rate of 2 people per second throughout the world. With freshwater being only 2.5% of the total amount of water contained on earth, the water crisis becomes more ominous.
