Lifestyle changes that can reduce the risk of dementia are now proven by a new study conducted by the Lancet Commission. The study conducted demonstrates that regular exercise, staying hydrated, reducing and omitting risky and unhealthy behaviors such as smoking and drinking can greatly reduce one’s risk of getting dementia. Doing activities that would overall help the body and in turn, the brain are generally more acceptable for the body. Taking care of the body is especially important as told by the study, 131 million people are estimated to have dementia by 2050.
