Nevada Reservoir at Record Low

Lake Mead, a vast water reservoir in Nevada, has dropped to its lowest water level since 1937. The reservoir provides fresh water to some 40 million people in the area. The historical drought taking place in the southwestern United States on top of 14 years worth of low snow pack has contributed to the reservoirs depletion.
