A deadly strain of amoeba has been discovered in the drinking water in a Louisiana parish in the United States. The Naegleria fowleri amoeba had been detected in two of the seven drinking water sites in St. Benard Parish, the same parish where a 4-year-old boy died from the same strain of amoeba back in 2013.
