Could UK churches be saved by getting pissed? While it seems quite the conflict of interest between the duty of the church and it’s parishioners, would communities benefit from such a conversion in order to continue within the community. Everyone understand the church’s position within any community. It provides guidance to those who believe and/or practice religion. But to what extent should priests go to ensure their viability within a community. Has this priest lost ALL his marbles?

Key Takeaways:

  • A vicar of UK church has reportedly applied for an alcohol licence
  • Father Tom Plant, vicar of St Michael’s Church in Camden, north London, is currently waiting to hear from Camden Council if they have accepted the application
  • He has set up a bar and a stage with fully equipped lights and sounds to entertain about 300 people.

“A vicar of UK church has reportedly applied for an alcohol licence and his reason by it is just brilliant — “We believe Jesus turned water into wine for a reason.””
