Israel Beats Drought with Desalination

The country of Israel has overcome its severe drought conditions from last year by collecting 600 million cubic meters of water through desalination. By using desalinated water for drinking and recycling wastewater for irrigation, Israel has nearly obliterated any dependence on rainwater.
