A huge sinkhole opened up under a gypsum stack and the ramifications of this to the Florida water supply has got people worried. It appears that 980 million litres of contaminated water have been leaked into the aquifer that supplies a large of amount of Florida’s water supply. Some officials indicate that there is nothing to worry about, yet others are not so sure. They are continually monitoring the water to make sure it’s okay for the public.
