Heineken UK Still Need Water Efficiency

Beer giant Heineken UK released last year’s sustainability report to mixed reviews. While the company cut down on its emissions, there was no change in water efficiency. Some water saving initiatives included new cleaning cycles which halved water usage in some plants and cutting down on wastewater by using a reverse osmosis cleaning plant. With that in the mind, the numbers do not lie and the company must find more ways to drastically change its water usage.
