Taking an idea born of environmental necessity and a desire to brew a new type of beer, a group of Dutch entrepreneurs has created a new bitter IPA brewed from ultra-filtered rain water. The Netherlands have increasingly wet summers, which can lead to heavy damages caused by flash floods if rainwater is not absorbed or used. Heaven’s Water (Hemelswater) is on sale by the bottle and at various restaurants around Amsterdam, the Dutch capital.
