Accidental drownings within the United Kingdom are trending down this year from what we’ve seen in previous years. Previously, these accidents have seen 400 individuals lose their life in such incidents, but last year revealed that number had dwindled to 300. It should be noted that those incidents run a range of reasons for the accidental drowning as many of those individuals were not engaged in a water activity to begin with as they may have simply been out for a walk or otherwise uninvolved with water when they were involved in the incident.
