Economics and Irrigation in Tanzania

The vague regulations over water control and access in Tanzania has created a conflict amongst farmers, urban citizens, and big business. The farmers Uluguru mountain paths in eastern Tanzania are using water from city piping to grow crops which some government officials claim that is harming the environment and that it threatens the availability of clean water to city dwellers.
