A broken water main can cause quite a lot of damage. This was the case for a street in Manchester. Once the water main broke, water was seen gushing everywhere. It damaged homes and businesses and even caused a problem with the electric line, to the point where it has been dangerous for the workers to repair the water main. Despite working as fast as they can, they continue to have the problem and are still on the case, working feverishly to continue the repairs.
