California’s water restrictions are no joke and are costly, both in money and water loss. The Byron-Bethany Irrigation District in Tracy illegally took 652 million gallons of water for the crops of Central Valley Farmers. Officials are charging the district a whopping $1.5 million dollars in penalties.
