A new recruit has been hired to help a UK utility company find leaks. Its a cocker spaniel named Snipe. He was trained by former UK military veterinarian. United Utility explains that finding leaks isn’t exactly an easy process and that Snipes nose will be an invaluable asset as it can trace one particle of odor in a billion. The main culprit being sniffed out will be small traces of chorine. It’s hoped that in three weeks time Snipes will be a success for one of UK’s wettest regions.
