The U.K. Committee of Climate Change issued a report outlining risk of ongoing climate change, including predictions of drought, heat waves, and flooding. The report urges adoption of stronger policies to deal with the effects of heat waves, floods, droughts, and even resulting food shortages brought about by quick climate change. Lord Krebs, one of the report’s writers, said that the world should still try to limit global warming while preparing to deal with its effects.
