We just got this feedback from a customer:

“Thought you would like to know that I have installed the reverse osmosis filter now and have not used the tap supplied with the kit but instead T’d off to supply both my Quooker boiling hot water tap and also my Samsung refrigerator ice and water dispenser.This covers our hot and cold water based drinks to ensure we have the best available we can get.

Sytem has been operational for several days now and all is working. The ice maker is not flow dependent so working fine and the cold water dispenser is typical of this type of dispenser and has a 2 litre storage tank.

The Quooker unit was a bit of a concern as it was fed from a 15mm supply, however all the downstream pipework was 1/4” covered in braided stainless steel and has a 3 litre tank holding it’s supply at 110C, however the new 1/4” supply allows the boiling water tap to operate albeit with a lower discharge pressure.

I believe that the water supply saddle pipe piercing valve you supplied while very convenient restricts the flow somewhat even with our 3bar line pressure, so will experiment with a 15mm to 1/4” adapter and see if I can get a little more pressure which would just improve the time it takes to fill a cup with boiling water. Thank you for supplying the extra couple of metres of 1/4” line foree so I could do that.

The installation was straight forward however even with our standard width 600mm and depth undressing cabinet with dual sink drains and traps and Quooker this space was going to cause some interferences without some custom bracketry.  However as I have a small wine cellar directly under the kitchen cabinets I installed the unit there as it’s easy to get to every 6 months for filter changes.

The instructions work fine overall however a full schematic and pictogram would have been good. Glad to know you have now added those!
