These symptoms can include itching, dryness, and can be exacerbated by viewing a screen at close distance, or in insufficient light. Parents should be advised on how to educate their children to use their devices safely in order to avoid damage to their eyes, as well as seeing an ophthalmologist every six months. A balanced diet may also help.
