At an eastern Idaho site, four barrels of radioactive sludge have ruptured. All four ruptured on the same day, but the public does not need to be worried. The material was originally sent to the site in the 1960s but has been repackaged since then. This is the first instance of the kind out of about 9,500 barrels. The site has been long used as a nuclear waste storage site but has recently been in the process of being cleaned up.
