A huge construction project is underway to produce clean tap water for the whole city of Plymouth. This will be by developing a new plant in Roborough, to replace the old plant in Crownhill- which will be redeveloped into other things in the city such as homes, a cinema, department stores, and more. The new plant will be capable of producing up to 90 million litres a day, and is expected to be become operational September of 2018.
