Ecology, ecosystems, and wildlife are threatened to a real extent. Water fowl, fish of various kinds are facing extinction with ongoing pollution problems. In a land where water is limited, even the citizens are beginning to feel the pinch with the drought starting to effect what they can and cannot do. However, with finding ways to incorporate water management into UK legislation and laws, there are ways to promote less waste and more prudent usage as has been proved in other countries where water shortage was also a threat.
