Craig McCaa, whom works for the Bureau of Land Management in Alaska, was capturing photos of the Chena River when he spotted a 15-foot long object swaying in the water. McCaa was planning on capturing the altering landscape since ice started forming on the river’s surface in Fairbanks, Alaska. But he became interested by a mysterious object moving in the middle of the river, and he watched it for several minutes, upon which it never had surfaced.
