Following negative comments made by members of the public accounts committee, regarding the increasing costs of household water bills, UK regulator Ofwat has released a set of proposals to introduce competition by allowing households to be able to choose their water supplier.
Chief executive of Ofwat, Cathryn Ross, believes that these proposals will result in better services for customers.
