A Californian college student captured the dramatic moment he was attacked by a great white shark on his GoPro camera. Tyler McQuillen, 22, was spear-fishing in Santa Barbara when the man-eater struck in just 10ft of water. Although he dropped his spear gun in shock, he managed to retrieve it and hit the shark, while the camera mounted to the gun recorded the drama. McQuillen suffered broken bones in his foot but managed to swim back to shore.
