After taking a look in the mirror one morning an obese Australian woman of a three year old autistic son decided she wanted to get in better shape. She gave up drinking soda and other sugary beverages and began drinking more water. Along with this she took nice walks and tried some light workouts at home. After a short time she lost nine stone and gained the confidence to start working out in a public gym. She is now in the best shape of her life and has the energy to better take care of her son.

Key Takeaways:

  • “Being a single mum it was really tough and my weight was also impacting me in my full-time job as a dental assistant.”
  • “I found being overweight and having an energetic son was difficult – I couldn’t keep up with him,”
  • “It’s so weird looking back at old pictures of myself and shocks me how much I’ve changed my lifestyle.”
