Scottish water has met with engineering challenges, but continues to make progress on the installation of a new drinking water network. Excavation work is being done with a state of the art tunnel boring machine to enable the addition of five new water mains that will service 200,000 people. More than 30 miles of new water mains will be installed to connect to water system to the greater Glasgow area.
